Vida Ann Morrison, age 57, of Edmond, Okla. was born June 1, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa to Ira V. and Annalee (Shuff) McDaniel. She passed away on Feb. 14, 2009 in Edmond.

Vida was retired as a manager from AT and T and later worked for the Edmond Parks and Recreation Department. She married Carl in December 1990 in Oklahoma City. Vida attended the Lutheran Church. Her loves were yard work, riding motorcycles with Carl and friends but, mostly spending time with her family.

Her survivors include: husband, Carl of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Candace Boyett of Ft. Hood, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Devon and Dwayne Milum of Benton-ville, Arkansas;mother, Annalee McDaniel of Edmond;step-children, Brian Herbster of Chickasha, Okla., Gregory and Sandra Herbster of Moore, Okla., Debbie Connor of Okla. City; brother and sister-in-law, Ira L. and Deborah McDaniel of Edmond; grandchildren, Tamara, Avery, Hudson, Tucker;step-grandchildren, Chelsea, Cassidy, Brittany and Ashley.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Friday February 20, 2009 at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. Services are under the direction of the Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK. Jane Lavelle (Miller) Kennedy was born in Altus, Oklahoma on October 3, 1951 to Leslie Harry, Jr. and Rovena Vonelle Miller. She passed away unexpectedly on her birthday, October 3, 2019. Jane loved singing, arts & crafts, and her dog. She was a huge OU fan and her faith was very important to her. Survivors include Jane’s mother, Rovena Miller; her sisters Jana Morgan & Deanna Edge; brothers-in-law Ron Morgan & Dennis Edge; nieces Kimberly Brown & Carolyn Edge; and her nephews Kevin Morgan, Michael Edge, Brian Edge, & David Edge. Jane was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Harry Miller, Jr. and her loving Yorkie companion, Chester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jane’s honor to either the American Heart Association (www2.heart.org) or the Bethel Baptist Church Worship Center Upgrade (make checks payable to Bethel Baptist Church and indicate on the memo section “worship center upgrade in memory of Jane Kennedy”)
